Northern Training Event
Gates open Friday 25th around 5pm.
Friday racing starts at 7pm 2x 45mins pursuit races back to back, visiting Supernova sailors are welcome to join in.
Camping available.
Saturday 26th.
Clubhouse will be open over night.
Entry forms to be filled out.
Lunch orders will be taken before training starts. There will be a small charge for lunch.
Training day will start at 10.30. Boats rigged ready to hoist. Unchanged.
Training will start on land with looking at controls and settings. Following on the water with Tacking for speed, Gybing in control. “The course” Startline skills, Rules rules rules. Followed by practice racing. All presented by Matt and we hope of course you will get involved.

Matt Thursfield led a master class, built on his previous training, at Girton SC.
Over 20 Class members attended and put the lessons into practice at the Open on Sunday.
The training, covering dynamic and static tuning and repeatability, tacking and starting, in both outdoor, indoor and on the water sessions was excellent.
Girton Sailing Club are looking forward to further sessions in the future.
Our class attendies greatly benefitted from Matt's insights.
