A stable high pressure system to the west of the UK provided near perfect sailing conditions for the Supernova Inlands, with consistent F3+ north westerlies throughout the championship. 31 entries was lower than expected, but the racing and legendary Blithfield hospitality were superb. The championship went down to the wire, with the first four boats finally separated by just one point each. Despite winning the last race by over 2 minutes, current National Champion and last year's Inlands winner Steve Broom was left wondering whether the failure of his main halyard on the start line of race 2 cost him a championship double for 2007. Class builder, Mark Hartley, sailed brilliantly all weekend to take the Championship with placings of 1,1,2,4 after discard.
