Race 1. Andy Flitcroft had the best start a quickly established a strong lead, with Adrian Stell and Chris Hawley in pursuit. Paul Hinde was OCS and although fought back could not recover. The second flight was dominated by Mike Gibson. Alan Utteridge and Dave Everett had a good start, but by the end mark had been taken by Steve Hawley. Gibson won the flight followed by S.Hawley and Everett passed Utteridge on the final leg. After calculation Gibson won the race followed by Flitcroft and C.Hawley. Race 2. With the flights reversed the wind became variable. S.Hawley developed an early lead but was caught by the flight with Gibson overtaking to eventually win the flight, Stuart Budden chased S.Hawley to cross in 3 rd. In the second flight Hinde and Stell split form the pack to battle with the first flight. Stell was able to take full advantage winning the race followed by Hinde. Race 3. The flights were juggled to put people in contention together. But a General Recall changed the starting order. Brown and Utteridge were able to break away but the inconsistent wind allowed them to eventually lose the lead form Gibson who came through form the last flight. S.Hawley and C.Hawley chased but were unable to Pressure Gibson. The varying wind conditions tied 2 nd to 5 th on 6 points, but Gibson was a clear winner with 2 firsts.
