Supernova Sailing Dinghy Race Details

18th September (Saturday) Supernova Open (TT) - Severn SC

Something completely different from that big lake or Sea sailing. Lots of close proximity sailing, calls for water, tacking every 15 seconds!!! (or less!!) can be very exciting and very physical, however, soft landings in the reeds are never very far away.

The briefing will be at 11:00 ("Turn when you come to a yellow buoy, up the other way until you find another yellow buoy, turn round and come back. Repeat for one hour"). The first race starts at 11:30. 3 races 2 to count. Cost £5. Lunch and camping are available.

Route: The Club is 3 miles north of Tewkesbury on the river Avon. Leave the M5 at Junction 9. Go east onto the A46 for 1 mile. Turn north onto the B4079 to Bredon - 2 miles. Turn north onto the B4080 to Bredons Norton for 1 mile. Follow the sign (Blue Seahorse on signpost) down the track under the railway bridge.
