2024 events

Hi

Will there be a list of 2024 event dates available soon? I'm hoping to do a few, but with other things starting to fill the calendar up it would be good to get the dates blanked off.

The full list will be on the website as soon as everything's confirmed - not all clubs are super-organised or responsive, so it can be a time-consuming process.

In the meantime, we do know that the first two events will be Winter Champs at Bowmoor 2nd March and the Cotswold Open on 16th March.

Noticed that the 3 training days are all on Saturdays with the Open meeting on the following Sunday. Isn't there a clash with the local club sailing?

Hi Paul,

Thanks for your input. In an attempt to listen to the membership we have moved the Training Day to a Saturday in order for people to travel on a day off. Fridays conflict with many helms work commitments. Having the Travellers event on the Sunday would hopefully secure greater attendance overall as there will be a social event organised on Saturday evening after the debrief at the respective clubs. Sufficient notice will have given time for participants to sort out their diaries. Everything is up for constant review and we will see if helms prefer this format or not.

We have mitigated the Sunday Club racing at each venue in order for the Travellers event to take place unimpeded.
