Attenborough Open - Sunday 15th August

Hi all

The Attenborough open event is coming up on Sunday 15th August, following the Girton open on the Saturday. The Attenborough NOR is now available on the events page and it would be great to see plenty of sailors visiting us. We're located on one of the lagoons of Attenborough Nature Reserve on the edge of Nottingham, very easy to get to from the M1.

BRING YOUR OWN LUNCH
To keep things simple for the club, we won't have lunch available. There is a big Tesco nearby and an M&S food at the retail park near the club if you need to buy food as you arrive. Hot drinks will be provided and included in the entry fee. The bar will be open after the racing.

CAMPING
Limited camping will be available on the Saturday night. There isn't a lot of level ground in the compound so there will just be space for small tents and then 3 or 4 camper vans or motorhomes in the carpark. If you'd like to camp on the Friday night, please send an email or private message to me from the links on my forum user profile, or post a message here.

There’s also a Village Hotel next to the nature reserve for anyone who doesn’t fancy camping.
