Nationals 2021 readiness

Postby PaulMc » Thu Jun 17, 2021 1:23 pm

Hi all this will be my first Nationals, with an expectation that I can hopefully finish at least one race.

I wanted to ask if there are any class needs which I shouldn’t be aware of, regarding equipment for the boat or myself as a sailor. As an example, is it required to have a compass onboard for the nationals? A fellow sailor from the Europe fleet told me there were things like this in order to be compliant.

Hi Paul
There are no specific requirements other than to comply with the published class rules and any sponsorship requirements. Event details are to be published shortly.

I would suggest you think about carrying water and snacks to see you through the day as there are limited places to tie the down.

Feel free to post back if you have anything specific to want to check on and we'll try to help.
