Hi all
We plan to have briefing at 10am and start the first race at 11 prompt. The plan will be two races before lunch and one after as last year this avoided lunch clashing with the club racing. I have asked the RO to aim for 45 minute races. We are sharing the event with the Bytes but I don't know how many to expect. Supernovas will start first.

If you are coming from Swarkestone on Sat afternoon you will be able to leave your boat in the club but the gates will close about 6 so don't take too long as I don't have keys. It is about 30-45 mins travel time, if you want to avoid Derby you can go on th A50 and then A515 to Ashbourne from where Carsington is signed. Out of Derby use A52 to Brailsford then turn off to Hulland Ward but you might need a map or sat nav that way!

Looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible and let's hope the weather is as good as last year!

Are we able to stay overnight in the club carpark?

Hi Cliff.
Unfortunately no. Apparently this is a Severn Trent rule. There are a couple of sites within a few hundred yards of the club.
