My lower pintle has broken off. I have tried to buy a new stock but IYE are no longer trading. Hartley's are using a Seasure stock which Richard Hartley says will not fit my (557) boat. My local boat repairer advises against trying to weld the old fitting back on, as this will never be as strong as the original.
Does anyone have a second hand IYE rudder stock for sale please, or other ideas regarding repair?
