SUPERNOVA DINGHY ASSOCIATION

Good evening all,
Does anyone know how Hartley are getting on making and delivering the new sails?
I know what order I am on the list but not a clue how many more weeks or months (hopefully not years!) I have to wait. No reply from Hartley to my mail.
Anyone got any news how quickly they are filling the orders?

I've heard they are making around 10 a week but not sure how true that is? I have 2 sails one apparently this week (still no news) and it was number 38 in the queue. My other sail is 88 and was told that may be many weeks away. I gave them a call this week about it and was told they will email me once out for delivery.

You might have to wait a while for your new sail. I ordered a new one early Jan 23 when Hartley did their last sail offer. After some nagging by me it was delivered in April. I know some who were waiting delivery right up to the 2023 Nationals.
I ordered my new sail on day 2 of the offer, I think I’m number 138 in the queue. I don’t know what the Hartley sail loft looks like, but they’re making sails of all their dinghies as well as completing the Supernova new sail order.
Hartley made a commitment to fulfill the order by the Pwllheli Nationals, I have a vision of a transit van full of new sails turning up for the event! They’ll turn up eventually, I’d rather they didn’t rush and make a good job manufacturing the sails.

By the way my new 2023 sail is brand new, unused, never been up the mast….offers anyone??

Would be really nice if Hartley could post the progress here maybe once a month. I'm sure it would save them having to answer a lot of phone calls and emails!

I ordered 3 hours after receiving email offer on 1st Jan.
Apparently I'm number 124 in the queue!

I was 48th in the queue and my sail was ready last Friday (1st March)

I was No. 86.5 and my sail arrived today

Mine arrived today - 124 in the queue.

I'm 148 and told it arrives tomorrow.
