Tiller "self-centering" bungee cord

Postby davidallen » Sun Jun 25, 2023 11:25 am

I believe a common tweak is to add a bungee cord from rudder to the rear footstrap mounting to help prevent rudder going 90 degrees to the boat if you let go of it.

Its a MK1 Giles boat.

Anyone recommend the diameter/grade of this cord to get the right amount of resistance needed.

I think 6mm will do the job.
