Towing - Lightingbar and mast

Postby JaneB » Sun Mar 05, 2023 9:16 am

Morning.
What's the best way of attaching the reg plate/lightning bar to the transom when towing? I am guessing the answer is a lot of rope but wondering if I am missing a trick in logic (I have under and over cover).
There is the 'fork' pole for holding the mast up in front of the bow - but what to do with the other end of the mast at the transom side.
Am I missing a component of the trailer?
Thanks everyone.

OK - can see the manual shows a picture of both but with no indication of what is clamping it to the stern...
I have the launching trolley and the road trailer. I have asked the previous owner if there is a lightboard in his garage... I didn't know to look for one as the boat was purchased in the same club.
If he comes back and says no - who would I contact to get a replacement and are there different designs? e.g one which attaches to the trailer and one which attaches to the rudder stock?

Thanks

This is what a lot of helms use. Its a fast and effective way to do it.
