New owner

Hi ,as an ex laser sailor of over 20 years (rapidly approaching 70) I have moved on. Looking forward to some interesting sailing.

I have just become the owner of sail number 491, wondered if there was any history of the boat within the association?

Hi Glyn,

Welcome to the Class - hope you are enjoying your Supernova.

We don't have much history on your boat in the Class. Since around September 2014 it was owned by Andrew Goodman (Attenborough), then from around July 2020 by Richard Baker (Telford). Prior to 2014, there is no record of the owner belonging to the Class Association at least going back to 2007.

I hope you're enjoying my old boat. I loved the colour!

I can add that the boat was owned by Rob Corner for probably a couple of years before me and that I sold it in 2016 to Richard Armstrong from Swarkeston and I think his partner Ami mostly sailed it.

Hi Andy ,sorry for the late reply. Yes I’m certainly enjoying your old boat. Looking at the pics it hasn’t changed a great deal.
I’m still learning, similar but not the same as a laser. Not quite mastered the movable mast as yet but I’m trying.
The boat has seen at least 3 owners since yourself, but would appear unscathed as far as I can see. Purchased in May this year from a lady and then onto me in July. I sail all year round so wish me luck in Jan/Fem 22. Regards Glyn
