             Venue:     Ouse Amateur Sailing Club, King's Lynn, Norfolk

              Event:     Supernova and Streaker Open.

              Dates:    Saturday 14th June 2008

Time of Briefing:     10.30am                          Time of First Race:   11.00am

      Total Races:     3                                          Races to Count:    2

         Entry Fee:     £7.00                                     Lunch:    Varies (free tea and coffee!)

Details:

A shared Open Meeting with the Streaker Class. Separate starts, probably with the Supernovas away first. Inland waterway with very little or no current. Format to be 1 race, then lunch then 2 races back to back. Start line 20 metres from slipway!. Food will be on sale during the event. Prize giving 1 hour after last race finishes.

There is a Supernova Open meeting at Hunstanton (18 miles North) the following day. Streaker sailors wishing to sail at Hunstanton will be welcome, but there will be a day sailing fee. Streaker sailors who would like to join in the Sunday morning club races at Saddlebow will be welcome to do so, free of charge.

Free Camping is available at Saddlebow for the Saturday night. Free transport will run from Saddlebow to Kings Lynn at 7pm, returning from the main OASC Clubhouse in town between 10pm and 1pm for those wishing to eat out in King's Lynn and then take advantage of the Club's great beers. Guest membership cards (needed to gain entry to the main clubhouse) are available on request, free of charge.

Directions:

Travelling from the North (A17) or west (A47) Cross river and take next exit to Saddlebow/ St Germans, drive past Norfolk Arena (Speedway Stadium) take 2nd exit a small roundabout, after 200 yards the road turns sharp left, ahead is a single track road, go down there alongside the power station, the sailing club entrance is directly in front of you as the road bears right.

Travelling from the South (A10 or A47) head West from the large roundabout take the first slip road signed Saddlebow/ St Germans, drive past Norfolk Arena (Speedway Stadium) take 2nd exit a small roundabout, after 200 yards the road turns sharp left, ahead is a single track road, go down there alongside the power station, the sailing club entrance is directly in front of you as the road bears right.
