The plan will be to do as usual, have the Friday evening meet at the Fishguard Bay Hotel at the end of Quay Road past the Ferry Port at 7.30, when I know numbers I shall book this. They have been carrying out renovations, I shall ensure that it is open! Then we usually go along to the Yacht Club to the bar. Last year it was too windy on the Saturday so we all did our own things, there is plenty to do in the area, there was racing on the Sunday and then five boats sailed out in the bay on the Monday and were met at the pub at Pwllgwelod (spelling?) before sailing back and driving home.

Hopefully I have negotiated a different evening meal at the Yacht Club on Saturday night and we shall have a party at our house on the Sunday again!

This will be really good practice for Saundersfoot two weeks later. Saundersfoot is about an hour from our house, if anyone wishes to leave their boat in our garden for the two weeks (we shall be) we may be able to help, alternatively the Commodore at Saundersfoot is John Griffiths, 01834 811129 e.mail : John Griffiths and he might be able to let you leave your boat at his club.

At least one Lightning is coming too, may be there will be a few more.

Please let me know if you are coming as soon as possible, anyway by 15 th May so that I can give the Yacht club numbers and book the bar meal at the Hotel.
