Sailors will be required to wear a wet suit or dry suit and will not be allowed to sail in shorts!
There’ll be 3 races. The first race will begin at 11:30 with a briefing at 11:00. Gates open at 09:00. The entry fee is around £8 with lunch and tea included.
Black Swan SC, with 70 acres of water, is situated in the very picturesque surroundings of Dinton Pastures Country Park. There is a very pretty walk round the lake, with a wonderful view and photo opportunity, for our non-sailing helpers, and of course shopping at Reading or Wokingham. For those of us with dogs, the club is dog friendly.
Directions:
From the M4 (J10) take the A329(M) to Reading. Leave the A329(M) at the Winnersh exit and then follow signposts for first Winnersh and then Wokingham. You’ll find yourself on the Reading Road (A329) - heading in the Wokingham direction. Go about 1.5 miles to traffic lights and then turn left at these. Go over the railway bridge and then over the motorway. Turn left immediately after the "Jolly Farmer" pub. The club is signposted from here - Black Swan SC (on the left).
