Total Races: 3 Races to Count: 2
Entry Fee: £6.00 Lunch: Included
Details:
This end of the season event is now very well established. The mixture of straight with varying departure time pursuit races puts lots of people in with a chance and shows the regular fleet leaders just what its like to sail in bad air and come through from the back. Of course being the Christmas Pudding race, some pudding features at lunch time to help keep the boats "flat" in the afternoon.
There will be a briefing at 11.00am with the first race at 11.30am. We aim to fit in three races with a difference: one regular race, then two pursuit races setting off in reverse personal handicap order - this puts everyone in with a chance of a prize. The entry fee is about £6, including lunch.
For those of you wanting to continue (or join) in the festivities, sailing will be followed by dinner at Kirtlington Golf Club, 7.30pm for 8.00pm
Generally sailors congregate at Anne & Mark's after sailing and then make their way to the Golf Club for dinner at 7.30pm.
Numbers and what people want to eat (see menu below), all three courses, to Anne by 18th November. A deposit of £5.00 deposit or full payment of £15 (per head) is required.
