Llangorse lake is a 450 acre lake set in the very picturesque Brecon Beacons National Park. It is the second largest lake in Wales - a spectacular location. For the non-sailor there are a multitude of activities available, including parascending, rock climbing, horse riding, mountain biking, scenic walks, visits to Brecon Town, Hay on Wye (world capital for second-hand books), etc.. So not only a great sailing location, but a possibility for a weekend or extended weekend away. This open meeting is always a favourite.
Various prizes according to number of competitors. Saturday evening meal 7.30pm Red Lion Pub. Menus & booking on Sat ASAP

Directions:
Llangorse is set between Talgarth and Blwch. Take the A40 to Gloucester - stay on the A40 to Ross on Wye and then Abergevenny. Then follow the road signs for Brecon. As you go through the village of Blwch, Llangorse lake is signposted. Follow the signs to the lake. Its about 4 miles from there. The sailing club is signposted when you get to the lake.
